Banner ads and Text Links are now available on a limited basis for
flooring related businesses. These ads can be placed within any section of the Carpet Buyers Handbook.
Based on current visitor traffic levels to the Carpet Buyers Handbook (about 4800 unique visitors per day), these banners amount to less than $0.0005 per site visitor per month and these visitors are typically carpet targeted customers. No where else can a carpet wholesaler/retailer/cleaner/installer etc. reach their target market with such a large number of impressions, so cheaply. In fact, industry pricing averages $25 per thousand visitors for non targeted sites and approximately $50 per thousand for highly targeted sites. Using this formula, a fair market price for banners on a similarly trafficked site would average more than $5200 per month for targeted traffic.
However, the cost of these banner ads on targeted pages has been priced at 3
ads (3 pages) for $75/mth (3 month minimum).
The Carpet Buyers Handbook also offers
border ads (127 pixels by 127 pixels) that are placed on every page in the right hand border (under our Carpet Price Quotes box).
These right-hand border ads are priced at a flat rate of $100 per month (3
month minimum). These ads will receive about 15,000 views per day or about 450,000 impressions for each month.
The following information shows current unique visitor traffic by page. Keep in mind, we define Unique Visitors as visitors who have visited once in the past 24 hours. The Carpet Buyers Handbook receives about 600 returning visitors each day, which do not count as Unique visitors based on this definition. Multiple visits within a 24-hour period do not add to the Unique visitor total.
