Carpet Stain Removal: Carbolic Acid Disinfectant

  1. Remove excess by blotting with a towel or scraping with a rounded spoon.
  2. Apply Odosolv or detergent solution and agitate slightly.
  3. Rinse with warm water and blot with towels or rinse with a spot removal (carpet stain removal) extractor.
  4. Continue to repeat the application of Odosolv or detergent solution followed by a warm water rinse as long as there is an improvement in the spill.
  5. Apply SuperAll or Rubbing Alcohol and agitate slightly.
  6. Continue to repeat the application of SuperAll followed by a warm water rinse as long as there is an improvement in the spill.
  7. Rinse with warm water and blot with towels or rinse with a spot removal (carpet stain removal) extractor.
  8. Apply a half inch layer of paper towels and weigh down with a heavy object.
