This
ranking test is an analysis of a Site Partner who was in the Program for
two years and withdrew for four months (May 2006 through September
2006). During this non enrollment period, the partner’s website traffic
and keyword ranking results dropped significantly. On September 3, 2006,
the Partner was re-enrolled in the CBH program and links were reinstalled on
The CBH. A ranking report was generated on that day for the partner’s
keywords. This report compares the ranking report of those keywords on
the first day of reenrollment with the ranking result of these same
keywords six weeks (October 28, 2006) after his links were reinstalled
on the Carpet Buyers Handbook.
To confirm that Carpet Buyers Handbook links were the reason for this
climb in ranking results, a second trial was performed (see second file
) in which linked keywords were changed for a second partner
were changed and a similar tracking was performed from October 19, 2006
through November 3, 2006. Almost identical results were noted for this
second (separate) site partner’s web site.

This analysis can be created monthly and
emailed to each Partner for your web site as a monthly report (available
for carpet buyers handbook partners only). This is an actual Sanitized
report in which all Partner information has been removed. This Partner
withdrew from the CBH Site Partner Program for 4 Months and reenrolled
in September 2006. During this (non enrollment) period (his) web site
traffic and ranking dropped considerably. This is a six-week "progress"
report (after reenrollment), which shows phenomenal improvement and the
effect that Carpet Buyers Handbook links have on search Engine search
ranking results. The comparison report date (September 2006) was run on
the day links from the CBH were reinstalled. These are actual ranking
results for the Partner prior to reenrollment and six weeks after
reenrollment. Comparison Rankings, for this partner, can be tracked
monthly back to 2004 based on on-going data analysis.
This is an analysis of the key words found in your meta tags and
their search ranking results in the various primary search engines. Each
month you will be able to assess whether changes you have made to your
site have been effective.
